Are you looking for some activities for your family during Easter break that are not too expensive and do not require a lot of travelling? Check out these programs being offered at the Rockyford Library. For more information, contact the library during regular operating hours.

Be a part of our library team! This position is for a library assistant/clerk to work six hours per week but could increase to eighteen hours when covering for vacation/sickness/special events. You must be comfortable working with computers and serving the public. Experience in data entry and MS Excel would be an asset. You must be 18 or older and successfully pass a vulnerable persons check by the RCMP. For more information, or to apply, email armlibrary@marigold.ab.ca, phone 403 533 3964, or simply drop by. The library is open Tuesdays, noon to 6; Wednesdays and Thursdays, 2 to 8.

Drama Camp has moved to the end of July for this year (July 29 to August 2). Looking forward to seeing new faces and returning participants. Calgary Young Peoples Theatre will be facilitating again.

Price remains $50 per participant for the five days. Please complete the registration form and return as soon as possible to ensure your child's/teen's spot.

If you are not a resident of the Village of Rockyford, contact library staff to have a copy of the consent/waiver sent to you by email or regular surface mail.

Rockyford Connections at the Library

Are you new to the community? Or just trying to connect with other people and get to know your neighbourhood better? Whether you have recently moved here or lived here for decades, you are welcome.

Drop in at the library on the first Thursday of each month, beginning at 6:00 p.m. This casual get-together is to facilitate people getting aquainted with each other and learning more about the opportunities and programs available in the village for local residents and those living in the surrounding area. There will even be coffee and snacks!

Christmas Commotion is coming to Rockyford!

Don't miss this year's Christmas Commotion and Craft Market at the Rockyford Community Center on Saturday, December 8, from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m.

The library will also be drawing the winnning raffle ticket for the Kobo Aura One ereader, storage case and a $25 gift certificate -- a perfect gift for the reader in your family. Tickets are only $5 each and are available at the library or from any library board member.
