Calling local community thespians between the ages of 7 and 17: Join in a fun week of theatre and activities at the Rockyford Library this summer.

Led by instructors from the Calgary Young People's Theatre (CYPT), participants will enjoy a number of workshop activities throughout the day, eventually creating a play that will be presented to family, friends, and all community residents on Friday, August 2, beginning at 3:00 p.m., in the community centre.

This wonderful program encourages young people to freely express themselves and their ideas, fostering a stronger sense of community and a passion and appreciation for the arts. It will increase their confidence and provide them with an opportunity to connect with new friends.

Registration fees remain a minimal $50/participant and $25 for each additional sibling. We thank Wheatland Family & Community Support Services for their generous funding, which allows us to offer such unique programming in the Village.

Parents must submit their child's/teen's completed registration form on or before 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 11, 2019.  These forms are available directly from the library, or via Canada Post or email on request.

To talk to staff for more information about this program, please contact us during operational hours: Tuesdays, 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Wednesdays and Thursdays, 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
